I had steel brakes on my F83 M4 and never had a noise from those either.

Mine squealed for the first time on the way back from work yesterday, this was with moderate breaking between 1-4 mph.
Didn’t happen today though. I have about 600 miles on the car.
I intend to bring this up with the dealer when I get my 1200 mile service.
