In the middle of diagnosing other issues, but found water pump and IBS codes. Wondering if I'll be needing to replace the water pump soon.. Codes are:

2E83 - Electric Water Pump, Reduced Power Operation
2E85 - Electric Water Pump, Communication
2E8B - Intelligent Battery Sensor, Signal
2E8D - Intelligent Battery Sensor, Signal Transmission

Had to replace the battery three months ago, but never registered the new one with the car. Battery was from interstate, dunno the specs compared to the OEM, but I do know it was slightly smaller (had to move the bolt holding the battery to a different position). Wondering if not registering the battery could cause these faults, or what might otherwise be going on..
