I messed with the settings and went for a drive. It's picking up both front and rear laser signals. Options are for me to return and get the R7 or keep it, turn off laser or tape gesture controls and wait for Valentine come out with an update. I'm leaning towards just returning and getting the R7, but I will email Valentine first and ask them. Will update the thread with the response. |
Turn off your gesture control in the settings and see if it is still faulting laser alerts. I just sent mine back for laser faults and I turned off my gesture control and all my other assistance systems to try and narrow it down. I hooked up my V1 Gen2 to a 12v jumper in my house and laser was still occasionally going off. I have read that gesture control can affect it but try it with it off and see.
