Be aware that Castrol makes several variations of their Edge motor oil. Be sure it is the one that meets the BMW LL-04 spec. Once my car is out of the free maintenance window I plan on switching to AMSOIL Low Saps European synthetic. Those of you who wish to change your oil every 5000 miles or 8000 km might want to send your oil in for an analysis. You'll be surprised at how much life that oil still has.
