It's funny that you use the bilge pump example. The vacuum tool is exactly how they change the oil on many boats, because pan access is a problem. I'd be interested to hear if ECS TUNING feels that oil changes using the pump are less effective. In my own experience, the pump seems to get all the oil, and I thought particulates were suspended in the (still hot) oil.
