Thanks, guys! I'll tell you, driving that car once in a while is the only thing keeping me sane while waiting for the 335i!

Carbon Black Metallic is almost a magical color. Sometimes black, sometimes blue. In the right light, you can stand back and look at it -- the part closest to you is blue and the part furthest away is black, but you can't tell where it changes.

I'm wondering if the Monaco Blue is as dark. Does it do the blue/black thing?

I've tried to keep the M5 in good shape. It's almost five years old with about 62k miles on it. For the BMW CCA's North Atlantic Regional Concours last fall, not only didn't I detail it, I didn't even WASH it. I wrote the software that the Boston Chapter (which hosted) uses for judging, so I had to go. I parked the car in the corner in shame.
