I'd bet my life on the bmw spec p zero being faster for racing than the bmw spec ps4s. It's not the tire compound's fault the m5 is just lacking in rear width so you see it over steering like a madman in every lap time video. The gt63s, although the car is much slower if tires were not a variable, has much more stable corner exits because of way wider rears and rear wheel steering. The difference is also shown in their top speeds of the lap, the amg can start gassing it out of a corner way before the bmw but ends up having almost identical lap time because the m5 has better front grip. |
So the M, albeit not faster, is more fun to drive... right?
