Yes it does; I just upgraded my Gen1 to a Gen 2 last month. Didn't have to redo any of the wirings. My first hand experience:
- Definitely less bogeys
- Turned off the rear laser; front laster is left on - this defeats the gesture control. Learned this through trial and error
On my Gen1, I had to turn laser off all together to defeat gesture.
My unit is right of my rear view mirror closer to the top of the windshield.
