Exactly that mate, the tech turned the radio on, saw the DAB had signal and left it at that. Pathetic really.
I have seen on other forums its defo a BMW issues, a lot of people have been installing amplifiers. Also noted is that if you have anything plugged into the cigarette lighter it can cause issues, so will unplug that tomorrow and report back.
