The comments for that article are interesting.

But I think the study is flawed.
1. Small population (125 "drivers") in one crosswalk, in SF.
2. How do they know the person driving the car is rich or poor just by looking or by the car they drive. I know several friends who are rich who drive non-luxury cars, and at the same time, I know some people who barely make enough to cover their lease driving BMWs.
3. What about other correlations. Age? Driving experience? Etc etc.
