Instructions for daytime running lights is in your owner's manual. Put on some latex gloves so you don't cut up your hands, the latex gloves will be torn up when you're done. Start on the driver side because it's easier. The passenger side is a bitch but I have small hands so I didn't even need to take off the cover to squeeze in there. Good luck.
