My worry would be the tolerances of the Xdrive system between front and rear. I've spoken to folks offline who are running your proposed setup and have experienced oddities--tough to say whether it's the imbalance in the rolling circumference.
I run Michelin Pilot Spot 4Ss since I need a bit of wet-weather capability. I can't speak firsthand to the Cup 2s but reviews indicate they're amazing performance/track tires--perhaps overkill for road-only scenarios.

Is your front 285/35/20 and rear 295/35/20 on the OEM wheel that came with the car? Any noticeable difference in cornering?
