I thought it odd that the front and rear differential would use a different oil. How different could they be? It's very odd, I'd love to hear the reasoning. If for example one type is cheaper and "ok" for one differential but the other is more expensive and must be used in the other differential, then could not the better fluid be used in both?
It's odd.
