I spoke with Burdick BMW in Cicero, NY, about the parts/fluids needed for the 1200 mile service. He was very helpful.
The oil filter is the same as in the X5M and any other V8 M car.
The Front Differential fluid is available and is in stock.
The Rear Differential Fluid is the issue. There is currently none available in the US. Not a drop.
I am waiting to hear from the dealer from which I bought the car as I requested a copy of the current 1200 mile service bulletin. (I have seen prior year's bulletins, but the new M5 is obviously not on those bulletins).
