Comment: Enabling the folding option here in the Great White North during winter is not recommended. If so, whenever the mirrors become immobile due to ice buildup (as often happens here) — something expensive is likely to break the next time the vehicle is locked/unlocked...

That’s a really good point I had not considered. I don’t plan to drive it during the winter but if I do, I’ll make sure to keep the mirrors folded out
