I called BMW NA and expressed my disappointment with the squeaky brakes. I use Sonax brake cleaner and noise disappears after the cleaning but returns after about 40 miles. I told the representative that I hope BMW would look into a different style of brake pad. The phone call was more of a suggestion and for them to have it on file.

For those using the ACG brake pads is there a risk of the compound of the brake pad reducing the life of the brake rotor?
