John,
All 2019 M5 manufactured from Jan 30th to October 30th are included in this recall. It just has not been published for current owners at this point. Once there is a fix this will be pushed out.
We are not able to take delivery on new vehicles as BMW has identified the issue and working on a remedy.
EDIT** I just realized that you are in the UK. I don't know how this is being handled on your side of the pond. |

I think its pretty strange that your sales person knows when BMW will have a fix but the 4 or 5 dealers/service managers that I have spoken to over the last 24 hours have no idea and are at the mercy of BMWNA.
I would push your sales person to show you something in writing. I am willing to bet he or she is trying to provide a false sense of security to make sure you don't walk away from the deal. |
