I was reading on another forum that if you have iDrive 7, no programming is required. A dude with a 2020 G30 just dropped in a new screen so I went ahead and ordered one through my dealer. I wasn’t happy with what I found on German websites or eBay.
Part # is 65-50-5-A07-E68 if anyone is interested.
I’ll report back once it comes in and I can install.
