Agreed. I never cared for how the S63 engine sounds at all. It has no rumble or roar like a V8 is supposed to. It's just loud and unrefined, with no character at all. I mean it literally sounds like a boxer 4 engine from a Subie, just two of them.

Especially the f90 platform, besides the fact that exhaust note isn’t as refined as let’s say an AMG 63, the car itself is so insulated, We felt that primary and secondary downpipes added so much character to this car as it should’ve been from factory.
