I'm guessing the M5 is losing the DCT due to the 100% RWD requirement. Out of curiosity does anyone know what the limitation is on an AWD system with DCT in terms of rear wheel bias?

Porsche stuck with a dual clutch setup for the Panamera's. Are automatics now just as good as dual clutches?
I read it to mean the transmission is an 8 speed auto and that the awd system includes a multiple wet clutch to engage and disengage the front axle to allow the launch mode and drift modes.

The MCT transmission in the e63 has the wet clutch in place of the torque converter within the transmission. To be clear I expect the m5 to have a torque converter just as the rs7 has since I expect the m5 to have a ZF unit
