I can get heat with the temp set on 72 Auto, and the climate settings on blue, with the fan settings turned down......and I'm in South Texas with the ambient temp around 50. So, it sounds to me like there is a problem. I get cool air through the dash vents, but heat from the floor. I can get a lot of heat from the vents if I change the climate settings to red.
