Yeah, who knows how severe, but I think I'm cancelling any car with an accident reported. No reason to mess with it.

I also found at least 2 with no accident, but windshield replaced? Anything I should know about the e90 windshield or just coincidence?
Don't forget, not every accident makes it to carfax. If you fix it yourself and no police report, most of the time it doesn't make it on there. My friend bought a car that was flooded but had a clean carfax. He found out about it after going to the same mechanic for routine maintenance
