I'm sure M guys done the researches, and it's all about the proper segmentation that M5 is supposedly to be luxurious super saloon rather than a super car
Leave the track racer status to smaller bros like M3/M4 and M2
M5 is all about luxury and practicality so ZF auto and x drives all being reasonable
