Sorry for any confusion. The general consencious is the factory ride with a KW V3 on the X5/X6 M platform is improved when compared to that of the factory or when going with lowering springs.

My personal opinion is that it is a big improvement in all aspects. From my experience the normal driving conditions are just as smooth if not smoother than factory assuming mid to mid aggressive settings, KW's come preset on what they consider a 'street plus' setup which will also be able to handle the twisties better than the factory setup would. This also has to do with the obvious lower ride heigh along with upgraded shocks in the front as well as rear.
