And supposedly improved shifting as well. Between that and the steering / suspension tweaks I could hardly ask for more.

I dreamed that a manual Z4 might be different in more ways than just the transmission, that folks rowing their own gears would want those other things (i.e. actual steering feedback) and BMW might just revise them as well. I'm thrilled that seems to be the case.
