I coated my wheels with Pearl Nano HD. Fortunately, I did this prior to any damage. I didn't do the barrels as this would have required more time and $, but the faces and lips are now protected with ceramic coating. At least I don't have to treat my wheels with chemicals to remove grime and brake dust. It practically shoots off with a pressure washer alone. They clean up easily. Time will tell how it holds up. Another plus is the black is deeper and the shine is fantastic... like a just polished look.

A side note; we all want the brake dust to be removed between washes but this will only exacerbate the scratching, coating or otherwise. It's just another reason to wash our cars routinely and accept brake dust for what it is... it happens. Just my .02
