No excuses. It is what it is. Both cars are very close in accel even as tested by C & D in the shootout that the M5 won.
Two reputable Mags tested the M5 at 2.8 and 10.9. Another at 3.0 and 11.1
Somehow CarWow’s M5 leaves before the AMG and is caught by AMG before they hit 60mph. Then gets an 11.4 from the M5. That’s the CarWow test numbers. It what it is.
