My first set of HRE Wheels were actually a set of their FlowForm FF04s that I custom ordered to fit my E92 M3 back in 2017. After visiting their state of the art facility in Vista, CA and watching their fully forged line of wheels come to life inside a CNC machine I was hooked. When I got the F90, I knew I would have to budget for some fully forged mono-blocks. Mono-block wheels are incredibly strong and considerably lighter than a 3-piece forged wheel. I decided I would pick from their RC line, strong, lightweight track wheels that can take a beating.

I’ve been a fan of Michelin PSS tires since they first came as OEM equipment on my E92 M3. They had great all around service life and decent performance on the track. I later upgraded to a separate set of Cup2s on track wheels. When the PS4S came out I was astonished that I was able to put down lap times within one second of my Cup2s. I now run PS4S on both of my M3s and this F90 M5.
