While I agree with you - as Mizuno-San left after 2014 - that the new "engineer" was tasked with softening the GTR, and the 2015+ cars are all slower compared to the 2013's and 2014's (the best years for an R35 GTR) - the initial (I believe 10.84 that was run by a 2013 owner) was on an old tune from Nissan which was change since. The 2013's and 14's are now in the 11.0 to maybe a high high 10 on fantastic DA/air. MPH really hasn't changed either - about 124-125 MPH on average - so I will still go with the F90 M5 if I were betting stock versus stock at the track or on the street. R35's suffer from poor mid-top end - and with the launch being quite good with the F90 - I can't see the GTR coming around as the F90 is averaging 126+ MPH.
Mizuno was still around in a consulting role for the first NISMO - which was based off the 13-14 cars anyway - but I agree anything after that is poop.
