so use 0W-40, simple.
I'm switching over to that next week.
IMO 30 is too thin in our 40 degree celsius summers

so for me I run 0W-30 winter
0W-40 summer.
4 years now.
2nd edit.
Did the same on my previous BMW - that I had for 12 years before selling, no issues, car ran like a champ.
