I suspect you are right. Realistically the price of the F10 will start dropping when BMW begin heavily discounting the new M5. Then it starts to become more viable to buy new than used, or at least the gap is minimised.

This could be some time away yet. However i suspect no one ever paid list on the F10. 10k was fairly easy to get off?
