I know your question was for
FSHNGRY, but as someone who went through this, I’d like to chime in as well. Not all the features available through BimmerCode can be coded with all the “compatible” dongles and this isn’t made very clear. Said another way, even if BimmerCode supports what you’re trying to do, not all dongles support all functions.
This is the one I know for sure that supports all BimmerCode options and that I’ve used personally for both of my M5s:

Any other dongle might not be able to code the feature you want, even if BimmerCode has the capability.
