actually no? i live in socal and used 10/30 on every car ive owned and family members as well. some turbos and mostly na. switched to 15-40 and 20/50 on higher mileaged engines and never had any oil starvation or performance related issues. with automotive i normally stick to what works and try my best not to try new brands or repair procedures cause we try not to repair it again and again.
but thats never the case with me lol
