I appreciate the response. What’s most odd is that I have subsequently tried to install the wire tap into the indicated wire locations several times since then but the RD still will not power on. I am beginning to wonder if I somehow blew a fuse to those wires but I receive no error messages. Everything on the mirror appears to function.
If anyone has any other ideas as to why the RD simply will not power on with the wires in that location, I am all ears. I have now tried several different wire tap wires. It seems also like it isn’t getting the ground.
