I think you are right about the 789m being a better choice for lighter cars. So I will probably stick with them.
That's very interesting re: your being able to get your vehicle delivered with the 863Ms. Might be your dealer willing to work with you by ordering the 863M wheels separately and installing them on your car.
I am going to go with the 789m wheels. I think it would be cheaper to just order the 863m online and install them myself, but I will get the tire and wheel protection package when I get the car so I probably will just stick with the 789m for the long haul.
