It's not that I really believe it in this case, it's just that it's the only example of an incorrect redline in the whole TIS (as far as I've found) and I can't think of a compelling reason why this would happen. It's not a simple typo either, because the permissible constant RPM (6300) is where it would be if the redline were truly 6500 rpm. I wonder where the discrepancy arose.
I can find lots of literature re: 6500 RPM power peak but other than "the n52 electronic rev limiter is set at 7000 rpm" I am at a loss for references to 7K.
Clearly the gauges indicate a 6750/7000 RPM constant/max.
