Just looking at the picture, I dont see any sign of the laser light, they are usually located on the eyebrow in blue color, perhaps BMW made laser light in black for CS.
Probably included because of the yellow signature light for the CS, but laser feature disabled for US, same as with new M3/4... you get them in the US, but no laser feature enabled.

Laser high beam can reach up to 600M distance, the default high beam is around 350m...and the US regulations are apparently not allowing the use uf laser light for now, so it is simply turned off on cars, as it is only an extension to the default high beam, otherwise just default LED
laser lights do work in the US but their output it limited vs in the EU. I have them on my X5 and they do actually work. Where did you read about BMW disabling the laser high high beam? (yes that high high is intentional stated). Now, if you mean the always on high beams that have anti dazzle, those are disabled in the US but not the laser lights.
