From a straight hardware standpoint, I think it will depend on how much you are willing to put up with CEL lights and the car's system notifying you that something isn't right if you cut out and bypass all the emissions controls.

There's probably a way to reprogram the car to knock the lights and notifications out, but I think there's a more pressing question here that many people are asking and would like to know...

Why did you pick this car to do this to? A car that the manufacturer has deeply ingrained the emissions control systems.

Don't take this as a flaming...but there are vehicles that lend themselves to this sort of modification so much more easily - almost as if the manufacturer purposely allowed for it to be done.
