Greetings All,

I am military and bringing my E92 M3 from California to Hawaii. The car should be there by mid-October. I was wondering what precautions do the locals recommend. I went there once on vacation, and didn't really notice bad air quality like Los Angeles. Should I bring a car cover? How about getting the car washed and detailed by a professional once or twice a month? I ask this because other military who were stationed there say that there is sometimes "acid rain" (I call B.S.) and others say there is a lot of salt in the air. Any input would be appreciated.
