I got homelink buttons working last night. I used the remote control. I tried setting them without using the remote control the night I got the car. That approach worked for our SUV; it didn't work for my new 540i.

Also, re: the seats, I think the issue is that the car I test drove had the Napa leather / multi contour seats, so the seats in my car were sort of a let down, but it's all good now. I've gotten over it.

I love this car.
