+1 on D-Rock's point. Some years ago I bought some el cheapo MF towels and began to use them. It was some time later that I learned of the CD Test and performed it on my my towels. Holy s**t, Batman - scratches galore on the CD. Fortunately that was 2 cars ago and I've since changed to only quality MF and now don't even perform the CD test as I know they are scratch resistant.
Quality in my experience makes a huge difference and I only buy from the reputable online retailers previously mentioned. I should mention my first orders were with Wayne Recla at Wayne's Towels and his are still going strong for me!
