I think horsepower in a bmw is such a strange meaningless number. The f80 m3 had a very small jump in horsepower, but performance was much better... with a small increase in horsepower but weight saving, and better traction with the new system performance numbers will be improved. A Challenger Hellcat has 707hp.... m5 will be faster with the weight saving and better traction... give me the m5 anyday
