Update here.
Took delivery 1/11, submitted rebate 1/12. Still no check.
Have emailed BMW CCA several times and always get the same canned response that it's stuck with BMW NA and I'll get an email eventually. When I ask if there's any way to specifically check on mine or move it up given the wait, there is no secondary response. Coming up on 5 months now - this is ridiculous.
I love the car which is the main thing, but this experience makes me question the administrative capabilities of BMW CCA and BMW NA should I ever need to deal with them for anything else like this. They need to realize that while a very small part, this is still a part of the brand experience.
