I would say they probably wont even fit. One way to reliably change the 1M suspension would be to find a company that has developed a coil over kit for it. I believe the parts are mainly M3, so it is possible that an existing M3 suspension would work. However, the Performance springs for a 1 series should use different spring perches, and the 1M shocks won't be valved to respond correctly to the BMW Performance springs.
