Pop the hood, take some air and blow it backwards back down into the tank.
This is a super common problem... Mine clogs every year, and I unclog every year before I take it to get inspected.
I hardly ever use my washer fluid, so it builds up algae and other crap in the tank.
... if this doesnt work, then you probably need a new pump. But 5 years ago the BMW dealer wanted 300-400 to replace the pump and tank, etc.... I few shots of compressed air has saved me this money.

You're probably not getting it thoroughly clean if you have to do it yearly. Replacing the pump and filter is easy and cheap. The tank a bit more difficult, but not terrible. Never pay stealership prices!
