Lol are you really saying no to more power?! (especially if the weight holds steady or reduces)
Put in 305 or 325 wide tires, especially with a tire that is sticker than PSS and modulate the throttle a bit it will be ok.
I think you were spinning the tires going down the front straight from rolling on the throttle while in gear in 3rd and 4th then there is too much power, but chirping the tires on the upshift to 3rd is not a signal for too much power in my mind.
