Jacky, i think a lot of the engine electronics OBD etc. is BS, you can learn most of it from the internet (but it takes a lot of time).. its not as complicated and overreaching as they suggest. For example, unless something breaks, for oil, air filter, breaks, transmission oil can all be done yourself and reset without the need for bmw computers.. youtube has videos showing how you can reset all the service trackers/indicators by pressing the little nob below the tacho.
OK, you are really a genius.
You can merely use a screwdriver to calibrate, for example, the oil-air ratio!
Or wouldn't F10/all BMWs no longer have to calibrate anything, such as Valve-timing/angle, or sparkling-timing? Were those just life long use needless to re-set?

By stupid enough we have to send our car to garage or dealer, where there all the fools use OBD or sometime just to show off!!!
