OptiCoat Pro Plus and 5k miles in I have no chips or swirls. But I live in California, not NJ. I did have a bird shit spot on the roof etch into the clear coat a bit and I had to lightly compound it out. But the paint is still great. I have found the paint on prior BMWs to be way too soft though, so I came into this one expecting that it would look rough after a few years.
