Recently I noticed a good size scratch on one of my doors and luckily the PPF prevented the paint from any damage ... poured hot water on the PPF and the scratch disappeared ... it's self healing. I've now owned the car a year ... zero nicks, scratches or chips and the paint looks as perfect as the day it was corrected.
Those who own dark cars can appreciate how difficult it is to keep the paint looking new and swirl free ..... coming from a BSM F10 M5 (no PPF) and now a SG M5C I can tell you the difference is night and day.
Some will argue why do this on a lease? Well, because I like my cars to look as perfect as possible even if I only keep it 3 years.

Can you say what color you have? Who installed it and approx cost for entire car? Thanks.

Color is Singapore Grey and the PPF was done through Velos in Miami.
I believe I paid around $4k IIRC.
