That said my bluestone is already chipped up. When it gets bad enough I'll have it resprayed with axaulta products and I'll be good to go.
Most factory paint is fair at best. Bmw paint looks nice wears like poo. I complained to my dealer who said it was caused by driving debris ridden roads, tailgating or spinning my wheels. Nothing is their fault.

Ironically, even in the forum many people are very quick to blame the driver. Brakes squeak? Guess the driver didn't bed them properly. Paint chips? Guess the car isn't being detailed or washed properly.
I understand people are naturally defensive of a car they paid six figures for but as much as I enjoy this car and as amazing as I think it is, it is not without flaws.
